A next generation electronic artist and DJ/producer blending new-school RnB vocals with bumping house and 4x4 flavours, Omar+ is intent on carving out a lane all of his own making. Growing up just north of London and influenced by classic house grooves and pioneers like Kerri Chandler, Omar+ credits trips to clubs like fabric and Phonox in London during his time at university with crystallising his vision for how he wanted his music to sound. Identifying a gap in the market to mesh his own RnB vocals within house-driven, electronic frameworks, Omar has since seen his profile explode over the last 18 months. A slew of both released and unreleased solo tracks and collaborations with the likes of Josh Baker, Ben Stirling, bullet tooth, Obskür & Luke Dean have turned dancefloors from London to LA upside down, and currently sit in the crates of some of the biggest selectors in the game. Compounded by the success of his 2025 singles — ‘Back It Up’ alongside Josh Baker, which peaked at # 58 on the OCC, and the BBC R1 Hottest Record -approved ‘Make Believe’ with Luke Dean — Omar has quickly become one of dance music’s most talked-about breakout names. ‘Make Believe’, launched with a rowdy, impromptu pop-up party in Shoreditch that saw 1000+ fans arrive at less than two hours notice last summer, also peaked at #53 on the OCC in the UK, and was a centre-point of Omar’s sets at both Reading & Leeds Festival, where he made his debut to crowds of over 3000 people in August. Further live debuts saw Omar touchdown at Warehouse Project in Manchester, Thuishaven in Amsterdam and conquer ADE last autumn, before being crowned one of Mixmag’s Top Breakthrough DJs of 2025 in December. Freshly tipped by NME, Beatportal, Shazam & more for 2026, Omar kicked off the year playing completely sold-out headline tours of the UK, North America — over 4000 fans were on the waiting lists for his show at Sound in LA — and Aus/NZ, before making landmark debuts at Coachella in April, and Red Rocks in May. Looking ahead, Omar has a host of big-name live debuts already locked in for the summer, including UK festival dates at Parklife, Creamfields and Appetite On The Farm, flagship US shows at EDC Las Vegas and HARD Summer, and a first ever date at Paradise in Ibiza, with a load more to be announced soon.
